MILDURA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Documentary wedding photography with an editorial eye, while leaving you plenty of time to actually enjoy your wedding.

So when I say I’m a Mildura wedding photographer, I don’t mean I photographed one wedding here once and made a page for Google.

I live here. I’ve photographed weddings all over Mildura and the surrounding region: vineyards, gardens, churches, private properties and dance floors that have become increasingly questionable as the night went on.

More importantly, I know what weddings here can be like. I know that Mildura sun in the middle of summer has absolutely no interest in our photography plans. I know where we can find good light, when it’s worth sneaking outside for ten minutes, and when it’s better to leave you alone with a drink and your favourite people.

I’ll help you plan enough that your photos have the best chance of being beautiful, without planning the actual life out of your wedding.

MILDURA HAS BEEN HOME FOR OVER TEN YEARS.

And every venue behaves a little differently. Some have beautiful light exactly where you need it. Some absolutely do not. Knowing that before your wedding day is rather handy.

WEDDINGS AROUND MILDURA

I’VE PHOTOGRAPHED WEDDINGS ACROSS MILDURA AND THE SURROUNDING REGION, FROM BIG FULL-DAY CELEBRATIONS TO SMALL BACKYARD ONES.

PLACES I’VE PHOTOGRAPHED

Willow & Ivie · Vanden Estate · Elvera Gardens · Australian Inland Botanic Gardens · Bella Vista on the Murray · 400 Gradi · Sacred Heart Mildura ·Stefano’s Restaurant  private properties + a fair few paddocks

YOU’VE GOT BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN SPEND YOUR WEDDING DAY TAKING PHOTOS.

I’LL GIVE YOU DIRECTION WHEN YOU NEED IT. I WON’T TURN YOUR WEDDING INTO A PHOTOSHOOT.

Because the photos matter. But actually experiencing the thing they’re documenting matters too.

I’m not going to leave you standing somewhere wondering what on earth to do with your hands. I’ll step in, move you into better light, fix the bit of dress doing something weird and give you enough direction that you still look like yourselves.

But I also know when to leave things alone. Your dad trying not to cry. Your friend halfway through saying something completely unhinged. The champagne being passed around. Your uncle asleep in a chair at 9.30. That stuff doesn’t need directing.

We’ll make time for the beautiful portraits. We’ll get the family photos your mum will actually print. And then I want you back with everyone you invited.

OKAY, BUT WHAT DO I ACTUALLY GET?

You’re not expected to know when to get dressed, how long family photos take or what time we should disappear for portraits. I’ll help you work out the photography side of your timeline, find the good light and make sure we’ve left enough room for the photos you care about — without turning your wedding into a military operation.

Depending on the collection you choose, your wedding can be photographed on digital, 35mm film, or a mixture of both. There’s also a hybrid option if you’d love little pieces of video from the day without having a separate videography team following you around.

You’ll get a sneak peek within 48 hours, followed by your finished photographs in a private online gallery, edited individually by me and delivered in both high-resolution and web-sized files.

And I’m not disappearing until the wedding. If you need help with timing, light, locations or just want to ask “is this a terrible idea?”  you can ask me.

Send me your date and a little about what you’re planning and I’ll send over my full wedding guide with coverage options, pricing and all the details.

THE PHOTOS, OBVIOUSLY. BUT ALSO A FAIR BIT OF HELP BEFORE WE GET THERE.

AN EDITORIAL EYE. FLASH WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN.

Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular spring and autumn dates. That said, weddings don’t always come with that much warning, so if your date is closer, it’s always worth checking. If I’m free, I’m free.

I’m based in Mildura and photograph weddings throughout Sunraysia, regional Victoria and beyond, including Bendigo, Ballarat, Melbourne CBD, the Yarra Valley and Broken Hill, as well as Mildura, Irymple, Wentworth and the surrounding region.
I’m very happy to travel, so if you’re planning a wedding elsewhere in Victoria or interstate, you’re definitely not too far away.

Wedding photography starts with 6 hours of coverage, with full-day options available for couples who want the whole story captured.
Every collection includes professionally edited high-resolution images, a private online gallery and plenty of help before the wedding. Full-day collections can also include 35mm film, moving-image video and a handcrafted wedding album.

Final galleries are delivered within 10 weeks, with sneak peeks in the first 48 hours.

Absolutely. Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding, but more importantly, they’re a chance to create photos that actually feel like you. We can keep it relaxed, make a date of it and choose a location that means something to you.

Of course. Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I’m not going to spend the day putting you through a list of poses. I want you interacting, laughing and actually enjoying yourselves. That’s usually when the best photos happen.

Absolutely. We can meet for coffee, wine or jump on Zoom and talk through your plans, what matters to you and what you want your wedding photography to feel like. It’s also a chance to make sure we’re a good fit before you make anything official.

Absolutely. I really value connection and always encourage a coffee, wine, or Zoom chat before booking. It’s important that you feel comfortable with me and that we’re a good fit for each other.

Wedding photography prices in Mildura can vary quite a bit. You’re not just paying for a certain number of hours or a number of photos. You’re choosing a photographer for their experience, signature style, approach on the day and the overall client experience from booking through to receiving your finished gallery.
My wedding photography collections start from $4,100 for 6 hours.
If my work feels like what you’re looking for, get in touch with your date and a little about your plans and I’ll send you my full wedding pricing guide.

Relaxed, observant and very much not an eight-hour photoshoot.
I’ll step in and direct when it helps, especially for portraits, family photos and tricky light, but a huge part of the day is photographed as it actually happens. The hugs, chaos, questionable dance moves and all the little things you didn’t realise were happening.

Yes. We’ll build a photography timeline around your actual wedding, not the other way around. I’ll help you work out when we need to be where, allow enough breathing room and make the most of the light without having you disappear from your own wedding for hours.
